After some protracted delays, the flood defence works on our Ossett site are finally underway. The twelve week contract is to provide the earthworks for extended car parking facilities and service yard areas as well as 2000m3 of imported class 2C fill to facilitate the construction of an increased flood defence barrier.

It promises to be an interesting site with the emphasis slightly more on civil engineering than most of our contracts. I’m pleased to say that the site team is stepping up to the plate though!!
